Youtube Blocked in Pakistan

On the order of Supreme Court of Pakistan, The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has blocked Youtube.com due to Blasphemous content and the Video against Prophet Muhammad P.B.U.H, which caused restlessness in the Muslim world. The Video is named as "Innocence of Muslims". A strong reaction have been seen by the world of the Video made by American-Jew. This incident also caused the death of American Ambassador Christopher Stevens in Benghazi, Libya. The Ban on Youtube will remain till the removal of the video by the Google Owned Youtube. According to Youtube they said, they will not remove the video as this is against the Freedom of Expression.

  The Government of Pakistan has also banned all the links to the blasphemous content and it is being advised to the public to let them know any content over the internet via Email : complaint@pta.gov.pk and through toll free number, 0800-55055. Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf directed the Interior Minister, Mr. Rehman Malik to take strong action and Malik sent a letter to the International Police to block the film worldwide. Raja Said, they will not tolerate any blasphemous content over the internet. While India also took action against the Controversial video and Banned the Links of the Video.

    Good step taken by the Government of the Pakistan. Raja Pervaiz Ashraf has at-least took a positive step.
    We condemn Blasphemous content and Video against Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)and hope that Youtube will not retrieve in Pakistan until they remove these contents.
